Description Location: Ottawa Civic Hospital Campus Shift: Mon. - Fri., 7:00am - 4pm At Reimagined Parking, we believe great people drive great results.

The Parking Enforcement Patroller is responsible for monitoring and enforcing parking regulations across assigned areas using a company vehicle (car or golf cart).
This role ensures compliance with parking policies, identifies violations, and supports safe and efficient operations across a broader coverage area.
Key Responsibilities Patrol assigned parking areas on foot to monitor for violations.
Issue warning tickets or citations for violations including improper parking, expired meters, and unauthorized use of designated spaces.
Identify vehicles subject to towing and report accordingly.
Accurately document violations including time, date, location, and vehicle information.
Maintain real-time logs and reports of enforcement activity.
Inspect assigned areas for safety hazards, cleanliness, and compliance with site standards.
Report malfunctioning equipment, signage issues, or property damage.
Monitor pedestrian areas to ensure safe vehicle-pedestrian interaction.
Act as a visible, approachable presence for customer questions and support.
Assist customers with parking-related inquiries in a professional and respectful manner.
Escalate complex or confrontational situations to supervisors.
Immediately report accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions.
Maintain consistent communication with Operations Manager or Shift Supervisor.
Follow all safety protocols and site procedures.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise bility to operate a vehicle safely in parking environments Strong attention to detail and observation skills Ability to work independently across large areas Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws Must be authorized to work in the Canada and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by law PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to sit and operate a vehicle (car or golf cart)
for extended periods of time Ability to enter and exit a vehicle frequently throughout the shift Ability to walk and stand intermittently to inspect vehicles and issue citations Ability to bend, reach, and stoop when placing citations or inspecting areas Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, humidity, and sun exposure Ability to visually assess surroundings, read license plates, and identify violations at a distance Ability to handle light equipment (citation devices, radios, handheld units) Ability to maintain alertness and awareness while driving and monitoring surroundings WORKING CONDITIONS: Combination of driving and outdoor work Exposure to various weather conditions Covers larger or multiple parking areas throughout shift OTHER DUTIES: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain an allinclusive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required for this job.
