community stakeholder and other public meetings as required; make presentations and provides advice/guidance on relevant matters emerging trends and new/pending legislation and regulatory guidelines affecting the municipality as it relates to the department.Perform additional duties and undertake special projects as assigned.The Ideal Candidate We are seeking an experienced skilled with a post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Public Administration or closely related field. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of ten (10) years’ related experience in the municipal or private sector and expertise in IT strategy, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems management, with five (5) years of leadership/progressive management experience at a senior level.Certification in Lean methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB). Certification in change management, such as PROSCI or Certified Change Management Practitioner (CCMP) an asset.The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to make decisions involving long‑term strategic policies.
