POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is part of the Human Resource Team, providing support in the areas of administration, time management, staffing and recruitment. This position is also involved in short-term projects, training, and supporting the department through completion of a variety of daily activities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Verifying weekly production time sheets,
coordinate and administer leaves of absences, and other approved leaves.
Maintain company bulletin boards to ensure compliance with Federal, Provincial, and local posting requirements
Maintain information on company TV systems to ensure items are broadcast with up-to-date material
Assist in maintaining current information in our ATS, assist with scheduling interviews, reference checks and other recruitment activities
Assist with onboarding in Neogov and Personality
Assist in the administration and coordination of occupational and non-occupational illness and injury with providers including STD, LTD, WCB, and MPIC claims.
Responsible for tracking payroll reports, reimbursement and deductions
Assist with employee engagement activities: service awards, birthday celebration etc
Compile, track, and report data as required
Maintain employee folder by filing related correspondence into employee files including performance management, and salary administration documentation
Coordinate the ordering of office and lunchroom supplies
Act as first point of contact for enquiries
Assist all HR staff with administrative tasks when required
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to set priorities and organize workloads
Ability to function within a manufacturing environment
Office physical requirements - sitting, standing, and walking
Experience in any administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing environment will be an asset
