Lead the Edmonton Seniors Coordinating Council as Executive Director, focusing on strategic growth and advocacy for seniors. Drive organizational effectiveness while fostering solid community partnerships.
As the Executive Director, you will guide the ESCC through a significant leadership transition. You will be responsible for ensuring organizational stability and renewing momentum while upholding the mission to enhance the quality of life for seniors in Edmonton. Your role includes strategic planning, relationship-building, and advocating for the needs of seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advance and operationalize the strategic plan for community impact
• Lead through transitional periods while maintaining organizational strengths
• Foster trusted relationships within the seniors-serving ecosystem
• Champion advocacy initiatives for seniors’ needs
• Ensure effective governance and board collaboration
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in relevant field
• Proven executive leadership experience in mission-driven roles
• Solid financial acumen and budget management skills
• Background in the seniors-serving or related sectors
• Familiarity with governance and stakeholder dynamics
