Assistant controller Outdoor Living Manufacturing is looking for an experienced assistant controller to assist with accounting functions for our production facility in Penticton. This is a flexible work setting for the right individual.
Duties & Responsibilities Financial Recording: Reconcile bank statements, post journal entries, and maintain accurate general ledgers.
Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
Compliance & Tax: Prepare and file PST/GST, payroll taxes, and assist with year-end tax preparation.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage invoicing, expense reports, and vendor payments.
System Maintenance: Continuous process improvement and internal control procedures.

Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
CPA Accounting Designation Required.
Experience: Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing.
Experience: Accounting: 2 years (required).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software and ERP systems.
Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail,



organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Work Environment This job operates in an office/manufacturing environment.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Working overtime or on weekends may be necessary.
Work Location Location: Penticton, BC V2A 7J3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Salary Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
