Job Summary
As the Operations Manager your responsibility is to oversee and manage day‑to‑day operations of the electromechanical and operational support teams. The Manager will ensure efficient, productive delivery of all work under their responsibility. A hands‑on approach is critical to ensure contractual agreements are maintained and executed. Develop and cultivate sound communication with all customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the business units to ensure schedules and cost objectives are met or exceeded

Act as process owner for service and projects, ensure all processes are documented, fully deployed and rigorously improved as required

Establish and manage performance targets for all team members that compliment business teams and company deliverables

Identify customer issues and the impact on the business and resolve effectively within a timely manner

Attend client sites as required for technical assistance and support.

Implement and manage business processes

Maintain customer relationships, handling customer concerns in a timely and qualified manner

Hire, develop and assign service technicians and technical resources to support the back‑log of work and ongoing growth of the business units

Communicate to staff progress on initiatives, policies, process and procedures

Assist in planning annual budgets

Manage operating expenses by controlling costs in all areas including salaries and day‑to‑day expenses

Manage and analyze projects' performance

Create a manpower plan for operations and develop an effective project/service team





Develop and manage sub‑trades

Identify risk including scope, schedule, cost issues and develop action plans to mitigate and overcome risk

Establish regular meetings to communicate with all stakeholders

Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

5-10 years of field‑related experience

College/University graduate (Technical certification preferred) plus business management skills

Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of internal and external individuals.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English

Ability to multi‑task and work within a fast‑paced environment with the ability to prioritize conflicting demands

Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project applications
