This role allows you to play an essential part in growing highpotential client portfolios by applying your strong expertise in financial and credit analysis.
This opportunity is ideal if you are motivated by decision-making, business impact, and collaboration with business relationship managers to ensure solid and strategic credit outcomes.
Your Role Analyze, authorize, or recommend agricultural and agrifood credit files, while respecting risk appetite and policies.
Collaborate with business lines to provide quick responses to financing requests.
Support account managers as an advisor and coach in structuring credit.
Monitor loan portfolios and proactively recommend improvements.
Identify and implement quality control strategies to strengthen portfolio integrity.
Participate in credit committees and various initiatives.
Ensure compliance with policies and act as a change champion to improve tools and processes.
Your Team You will report to the National Senior Director, Agricultural Credit Risk , and be part of a strong national team committed to supporting agrifinance partners across the country.

Basic Requirements Bachelors degree in agronomy, agroeconomics, or business administration, with at least 7 years of relevant experience Expertise in agricultural and commercial finance Professional agronomist designation is an asset Ability to make autonomous credit decisions under pressure Proven leadership in credit strategy and change management Experience in portfolio management and risk monitoring Knowledge of business banking products Demonstrated analytical and negotiation skills Collaboration, adaptability, and effectiveness within diverse teams and stakeholders Languages: English, French Reason to require this language: you will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
