Adecco is currently hiring a Journeyman Welder for a full-time opportunity in Halifax.

This role is ideal for a skilled trades professional with strong welding experience who enjoys working in a shipyard or industrial environment.

If you have experience with SMAW and FCAW welding and are comfortable working in physically demanding environments, this is a great chance to join a long-term project.

Salary: $47-$50/hour + LOA ($166.50/day) + $220 weekly subsistence + $600 relocation support Location: Halifax, NS Schedule: Rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM / 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM / 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM) Employment Type: Full-time Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities Perform SMAW and FCAW welding in all positions (1-4) according to blueprints and specifications Operate manual and semi-automatic welding, flame-cutting, and air arc (carbon arc) equipment Select appropriate filler materials and safely position heavy steel components Work within fabrication, maintenance, and repair environments in a shipyard setting Qualifications Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada Valid Welder Trade Certification (union tickets not accepted) Current 4-position SMAW and 4-position FCAW tickets Confined Space, Fall Protection,
