Job Summary: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager as Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, planning tasks throughout the process focusing on work orders.

Work Schedule: Day

Shift, Monday to Friday (6:00 AM @ 02:30PM) Required Education/Experience: College Diploma in engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a unionized maintenance workplace.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in general troubleshooting and preventive maintenance programs.

Fluency in French and English Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Project management skills.

Practical knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Knowledge.

Knowledge of AC/DC electricity.

Initiative and high motivation.

Excellent coaching, meeting facilitation, content presentation, and team-building skills.

Proven ability in assessing mechanical capabilities.

Responsibilities:



Act as a leader to ensure employee and team member development, as well as performance in quality, service, and safety.

Master programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Leverage knowledge and practical experience in operations, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to support equipment reliability in facilities.

Motivate team members and empower them to achieve performance goals.

Conduct evaluations and allocate necessary resources to meet maintenance needs to support operations and maximize available labor.

Review and authorize regular and overtime hours to minimize labor costs.

Conduct reviews and recommend items for removal or addition for spare parts or spare parts rebuilds in the CMMS and workshop room through the red-tag process.
