Job Description: The psychometrician - Masters, under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist, will be responsible for the completion of psychological assessment and treatment services. This will include but not be limited to the administration, scoring, and reporting of intellectual, neuropsychological, personality, and vocational test batteries and/or the completion of behavioral assessments and interviews to children/families receiving services through the program. Treatment services to be completed with training and supervision are available. Related research and support duties may also be requested.

Education
A masters degree in psychology
Experience
Experience working with children with developmental delays
Knowledge & Abilities
Ability to work under pressure and establish priorities
Knowledge in clinical theory and best practice
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Knowledge in mental health/illness impacts related to children and adolescents
Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate ability to use computers and associated equipment
Ability to develop educational resources and presentations
Ability to provide individual, group and crisis management counselling skills
Requires knowledge in pediatric development, assessment and treatment
Responsible for accurate observation/documentation of patient related info.
Ability to perceive and analyze problems and effect innovative solutions
Proficient in the operation of word processing, spreadsheet and power point
Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
Excellent organizational skills including the ability to maintain priorities.
Knowledge in psychological assessments/testing with complex children and youth
Knowledge in evidence-based approaches for children, youth and families
Ability to facilitate educational and skill development groups
