Lead academic projects within UBC’s Faculty of Science as a Curriculum Manager. Enhance student learning and curriculum processes while ensuring compliance with academic governance and policies.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, Academic, the Curriculum Manager plays a vital role in overseeing curriculum governance and approval for the Faculty of Science. Your expertise will drive improvements in curriculum development, BSc specialization placements, and the management of the Student Experience of Instruction (SEI) process. Collaborating with various academic units, you will analyze data and support decision-making to ensure high-quality curricula.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Faculty-level curriculum approval processes and policies
• Advise academic units on curriculum development and governance
• Lead curriculum-related projects and initiatives
• Assess BSc specialization placements and outcomes
• Oversee administration of the Student Experience of Instruction process
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline
• 2 years of experience in curriculum administration
• Knowledge of university policies and procedures
• Robust analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
