Site Superintendent

Edmonton & Area | Onsite | Full-time | Monday to Friday (some weekend shifts as needed) Seeking an experienced and safety-driven Site Superintendent to lead field crews. This role is at the heart of how to deliver projects - you will be responsible for directing daily site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standard. You will work closely with our estimators and project managers to keep projects running smoothly from mobilization through to final clean-up.

Site Superintendent

Seeking an experienced and safety-driven Site Superintendent to lead field crews. This role is at the heart of how to deliver projects - you will be responsible for directing daily site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standard. You will work closely with our estimators and project managers to keep projects running smoothly from mobilization through to final clean-up.

Key Responsibilities
Site Leadership
Direct and coordinate day-to-day field crew activities, assign tasks based on project requirements, and ensure all personnel are working efficiently and purposefully toward project milestones.

Health & Safety Compliance
Enforce all site safety protocols, conduct daily toolbox talks, ensure proper PPE usage, and maintain a zero-incident culture. Complete hazard assessments and incident reports as required.

Scheduling & Production
Monitor project timelines and daily production targets, proactively identify delays or resource gaps, and coordinate with the project manager to keep work on track and within budget.





Quality Control
Oversee demolition execution to ensure work meets scope requirements and client expectations. Conduct regular site walk-throughs and address any quality concerns before they elevate.

Material & Equipment Management
Coordinate the delivery, use, and return of equipment and tools. Track material removal, waste disposal, and recycling in line with project and regulatory requirements.

Communication & Reporting
Maintain clear, timely communication with the project manager and estimator. Provide daily progress updates, flag any scope changes or site conditions, and document site activities accurately.

Client & Subcontractor Relations
Represent the client professionally on site. Act as the primary point of contact for general contractors and site owners during daily operations, and coordinate with any subcontractors working alongside the crew.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role in demolition or construction

Solid knowledge of interior demolition methods, tools, and best practices

Current First Aid, CSTS, Fall Protection & Aerial Work Platform certifications

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project scopes

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse crew

Organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation to reach project sites

Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, with some weekend shifts required depending on project deadlines.
