We're looking for a caring and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team, focusing on small animals. In this role, you'll provide medical care to pets, helping ensure they stay healthy and happy. We're seeking someone who’s passionate about animal welfare, communicates well, and enjoys working closely with both clients and a supportive veterinary team.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with clients by listening, empathizing, and clearly explaining care plans.
- Perform physical exams and medical, surgical, dental, and diagnostic procedures with a focus on quality care and patient comfort.
- Discuss diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and nutrition with pet owners.
- Accurately maintain patient records and ensure all necessary logs are up to date and compliant with clinic protocols.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and share knowledge with the team.
- Represent the clinic positively in the community and with clients.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
- CVO licence
- Licensure in valuable standing to practice in Ontario.
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
- Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth.
