As a vital member of The Citadel Theatre, you will assist the Head Stage Carpenter in overseeing productions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe operations. This role requires strong supervisory skills and a solid technical background in rigging and scenery. Your coordination with stage management will guarantee successful execution of theatrical performances.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise setup, running, maintenance, and strike of productions
• Liaise with Stage Management and Designers for technical execution
• Participate in scheduling and planning technical activities
• Work within running crews for events and productions
• Mentor crews, ensuring tasks and safety protocols are met
Requirements:
• 5 years of experience in professional theatre production
• Proficient in rigging and counterweight fly systems
• Ability to read technical drawings effectively
• Experience assembling and maintaining theatre scenery
• Available for flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
