Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements. Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service. Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs. Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Plan and manage the facility's operations budget. Resolve product and service related problems. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists. Repair and maintain boilers and heavy-metal products. Prepare estimates and bids for home construction, renovation and restoration projects. Ensure that construction permits are obtained. Develop risk management plans. Co-ordinate implementation of repairs, maintenance and renovation. Oversee payroll administration. Supervision: More than 20 people.
