loading area and shipping officeLoading of all tautliners and flatbeds with the help of two other loadersResponsible for opening and closing curtains on tautliner and applying straps around each crateEnsure that the load is secure and that all steps have been taken to ensure the load will arrive safely at its destinationResponsible to break up crates of siding in order to hand bomb the product into vanEmptying garbage during shiftMust be able to pick a product and create a crate when necessaryParticipate in mid and year-end inventory count if neededComply with all company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, as applicablePerform other duties as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor/ ManagerEducation and Certifications:Must have completed Grade 12 or equivalentMust work in crating assembly department when requiredPrevious manufacturing experience is an asset but not a requirementForklift certification acquired through Company sponsored training program if requiredDemonstrates ability to operate machinery safely and efficientlyAbility to complete reports accurately and legiblyGood communication skillsTeam player, strong interpersonal skillsWestlake is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
