Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate is confident in their technical abilities, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is passionate about patient care, client education, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality nursing care to hospitalized and surgical patients
- Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery following clinic protocols
- Assist with surgical preparation, dental procedures, radiology, and laboratory diagnostics
- Collect and process blood, urine, fecal, and cytology samples
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure clear communication with clients and team members
- Support veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Educate clients on preventive care, nutrition, and post‑treatment instructions
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and equipment readiness in treatment and surgical areas
- Uphold all safety, infection‑control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technician in good standing (or eligible for registration)
- Strong technical skills and confidence with anesthesia, dentistry, and patient handling
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy clinical environment
- Compassionate, patient‑focused approach to care
- Experience with veterinary software (e.g., Shepherd, AVImark) is an asset

Pay: $24.00-$34.00 per hour
