Become a Teaching Assistant for the Introductory Ukrainian course at the University of Manitoba! This role involves supporting student learning through instructional material preparation and consultation.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will deliver key educational support in the Department of German and Slavic Studies. This includes attending meetings, marking assignments, and preparing instructional materials. You’ll engage directly with students in both lab sections to enhance their learning experience, providing ongoing consultation and assistance for academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend orientation and planning meetings for course staff
• Prepare handouts and instructional materials for sessions
• Mark assignments and assessments for students
• Maintain regular consultation hours for student support
• Assist in development of audio-visual materials
Requirements:
• Relevant academic studies and instructional experience
• Empathetic approach to student needs and concerns
• Effective English language skills
• Enrollment as a full time student at the University of Manitoba
• Valid study permit for international students
Contribute to a positive educational experience for students by supporting the Introductory Ukrainian course.
