Insight Global is looking for a senior-level SDET focused on building automation frameworks from the ground up for backend/API testing within one of the world's largest gaming company's User Generated Experiences (UGX) platform.

This role is on their Central Technology team supporting their cloud, commerce, data, AI, and gameplay services.

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Dev

Ops, or SDET
- Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch and taking them into production
- Strong coding skills in Python, Java, Java

Script/Type

Script, or Go Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git

Hub Actions, Git

Lab, or Jenkins
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Understanding of cloud-based distributed systems and potential integration issues
- Ability to identify and communicate quality and testing risks
- Comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders to explain issues and solutions - AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or REST Assured
- Performance testing (JMeter, K6, Gatling)
- GenAI/LLM experience (OpenAI, Copilot, AI-enabled automation)
- Microservices architecture
- Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
- Chaos engineering (Gremlin, Litmus)
- Gaming, live services, or large-scale consumer platform experience
- Observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, Current Relic)
