This split shift role requires drivers to be available for 4–5 hours daily, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include performing safety inspections and maintaining a tidy bus environment, all while prioritizing student safety during transit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely drive students to and from various schools
• Ensure secure boarding and exiting procedures for students
• Carry out pre- and post-trip safety checks on the bus
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with fueling
• Communicate effectively with students and other drivers
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario G class driver's licence (B class preferred)
• Must be at least 21 years old with a clean record
• Knowledge of the local Ottawa West region
• Capability to work independently
• Available for split shifts during school hours
