Reporting to the Project & Culture Manager, you will engage in strategic research that supports governance, land use planning, and legal preparedness. Collaboration is key as you produce detailed reports for leadership, while also synthesizing inputs from various departments to ensure defensible outputs. This position is ideal for candidates passionate about Indigenous governance and rights advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on Aboriginal rights, title, and land use planning
• Review and analyze referral materials with potential impacts




• Prepare written briefs, reports, and recommendations for leadership
• Organize research materials for negotiations and legal processes
• Collaborate with GIS and Cultural Research staff

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years in research, policy analysis, or Indigenous governance
• Strong understanding of Aboriginal rights in British Columbia
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
