**Job Summary**
Theincumbentis responsible foridentifyingtrack geometry exceptions acrossCN’sNorth American Rail Network.
Theincumbentoperatesandmaintainsthe track technology systems, as well asexplainsthe data produced by the systems.
**Main Responsibilities**
Manage daily operation of the test vehicles to ensure frequencyobjectivesare met
Coordinate test schedules with Geometry Supervisorsoperatingthe hi-rail equipment
Spearhead the performance of the system tooptimizethe information generated by the equipment
Assistwith scheduling Test Car to cover the Company’s network accordingly
Report findings to field personnel on exceptions found during testing
Submit reports and test data daily to internal stakeholders
Perform other related tasks as assigned by Management

Working Conditions
The roleworks on a rotational schedule of 9 days on and 5 days off.
The role requires frequent travel (100%) by air and road across North Americawith consecutive nights away from home.
The roleisperformed outdoors invarious typesof weather and environmental conditions.
The role requires being available on-call 24/7 to respond to critical incidences.
The incumbent must be able to sit andoperatecomputers for prolonged periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
Due to the nature of the role,
the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure,and stress.

Education/Certification/Designation
High School Diploma or General Educational Diploma (GED)
Valid Driver’s License
Valid passport
Requiredto pass allthe pertinentrules training, including Canadian Rail Operating Rules (CROR), United States Operating Rules (USOR), Qualification Standards for Operating Crews (QSOC), On Track Safety (OTS), dangerous goods,Test
Car operationssuch as
Image Map and Ensco systems
Track Inspection Guidelines (TIG) or comparable
