Regional Merchant Lead – Canada -
Location: Remote – Canada, Ontario (Toronto or Montreal, with travel between multiple markets)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Contract Type: W2 under Staffing Supplier
Pay rate: $45-48/hour
About the Team
This position is part of a growth-focused Sales Team working to expand market presence across new and untapped regions.

The team collaborates closely with sales leaders, leveraging sales tools and market insights to drive business development and new partnerships.

About the Role
The Regional Merchant Lead is responsible for winning new business and driving expansion strategy across a defined geography.

This field sales position focuses on managing a transactional sales cycle, building new partnerships predominantly with local and regional restaurants, and executing face-to-face transactions.

Extensive travel within a two-hour radius of the home city, with some overnight and extended travel days, is required.

All travel costs are covered by the company, and compliance is closely monitored.

Key Responsibilities
Travel to expansion markets to establish new partnerships with restaurants
Sell the value proposition of the platform and negotiate partnership agreements
Manage a high-volume, transactional sales cycle and close current business quickly
Coordinate closely with the Sr.

Regional Sales Manager and use market information and sales resources
Contribute to scalable growth strategies and playbooks
Qualifications
2.5+ years of sales experience in a closing or comparable role
Bilingual fluency in French and English
Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time to meet prospective clients




Strategic and efficient with both inside and outside sales tactics
Entrepreneurial, with a focus on building scalable strategies for business growth
