Salmedia Marketing Agency is looking for a motivated and reliable Part-Time Junior Videographer / Production Assistant to support our client video productions across Toronto and the GTA.

This is an entry-level, paid position suitable for someone who has basic videography experience and wants to gain professional, hands-on experience creating social media content for real estate, construction, home-service and qualified-service businesses.

Responsibilities

- Assist with preparing, carrying, setting up and packing production equipment
- Capture vertical social media videos under the direction of the project manager
- Assist with cameras, gimbals, lighting, microphones and teleprompter equipment
- Record behind-the-scenes footage and supplementary B-roll
- Help organize, transfer and back up video files
- Follow filming instructions and Salmedia’s production standards
- Communicate professionally with clients at filming locations
- Arrive punctually and help keep production sessions organized

Qualifications:
- Familiarity with mirrorless or DSLR cameras
- Basic understanding of composition, lighting and audio
- A portfolio, Instagram page or sample videos is strongly preferred
- Willingness to learn and accept creative direction

- Reliable, punctual and organized
- Ability to travel to different client locations across Toronto and the GTA
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are considered assets
- Farsi-language ability is considered an asset but is not required

Compensation: $17.60 per hour, plus applicable vacation pay. The wage will automatically increase to the applicable Ontario minimum wage when the provincial rate changes.
