CANOPY SUPPORT SERVICES IS CURRENTLY SEEKING BOARD MEMBERS WITH THE EXPERTISE RELATED TO FINANCE AND/OR THE DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICE SECTOR.

Responsibilities

- Volunteer position with a two (2) year commitment

- Provides financial oversight to Chief Executive Officer and Senior Management

- Help to determine Canopy’s strategic directions and priorities on a 3-5 year cycle

- Participates actively in governance activities and willing to accept assignments and complete them thoroughly and in a timely manner

- Actively participates in Board sub-committee

- Approximately 9 board meetings per year; 3-4 hour commitment per month

Who We Are

Canopy Support Services is an incorporated non‑profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

For more than 50 years, we have been providing high‑quality services to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

As an Accredited agency and a recognized leader in the Developmental Services sector, we support individuals, their families and caregivers,



as well as the community agencies that work alongside them.
