In compliance with local corporate transparency standards: This is an informal, consultative volunteer Advisory Board seat.
About Us
Afroidentity Inc. is a registered Canadian Federal software technology company building an integrated e-commerce marketplace and digital loyalty network designed for the global Afro-descendant affinity economy.
Our ecosystem unifies digital retail, localized food logistics, and service scheduling with large-scale cultural events and festivals. We are focused on bridging creative FinTech solutions with real-world community commerce to scale economic growth for independent merchants.
The Role & Executive Scope:
We are formally seating an elite panel of five (5) specialized cross-industry Advisors to provide non-binding, strategic guidance to our leadership team. This is a consultative advisory capacity with zero operational management duties, zero fiduciary control, and zero corporate voting liability.
Advisors will dedicate 1 to 2 hours per month for virtual strategic briefings and targeted network introductions.
We are seeking recognized leaders across five (5) specific domain pillars:
- Corporate Legal & Regulatory Compliance Scope (role already filled):
- Regulatory Guidance: Advise on corporate structuring, provincial/federal compliance, and navigating strict data privacy regulations (like PIPEDA in Canada and CCPA/GDPR frameworks as we expand into international jurisdictions).
- Contractual Oversight: Provide high-level guidance on multi-tenant vendor agreements, software terms of service, and corporate governance standards.
- Risk Mitigation: Help the executive team identify and insulate the company from operational liabilities inherent in peer-to-peer escrow trade and marketplace logistics.
- Venture Capital & Institutional Seed Scaling
- Fundraising Strategy: Critique and refine our seed-round investment pitches, helping to position our low-CAC physical-to-digital acquisition flywheel to institutional venture funds.
- Financial Stewardship: Offer non-binding feedback on our financial models, cap table structuring, and capital allocation strategies to ensure maximum runway efficiency.
- Investor Relations: Guide the executive team on establishing high-trust communication protocols with prospective angel investors, institutional syndicates, and venture capitalists.
- Community Engagement & Commercial B2B Alliances
- Ecosystem Distribution: Open strategic pipelines to local Chambers of Commerce, Business Improvement Areas (BIAs), and grassroots business networks to accelerate organic merchant acquisition.
- Merchant Trust Architecture: Advise on the best communication strategies to build high-trust partnerships with independent businesses, cultural creators, and localized service providers.
- B2B Program Growth: Help formulate collaborative growth strategies that turn regional trade associations into active distribution partners for our vendor onboarding pipeline.
- FinTech Architecture & Scaled Market Engineering
- Infrastructure Strategy: Act as a high-level technical sounding board for our Lead Systems Architect, Pedro, evaluating the security, speed, and scalability of our marketplace backend nodes.
- Transactional Architecture:
Advise on industry best practices regarding multi-tenant ledger setups, automated commission split logic, and secure payment processing rails (such as Stripe Connect).
- Closed-Loop Token Economics: Provide strategic insights on data optimization and algorithm structures to ensure our consumer reward system (AMPA Rewards) remains stable, scalable, and secure.
- Experiential Marketing & Omnichannel Media Events
- Corporate Sponsorship Acquisition: Provide strategic design input on how to build high-ROI sponsorship decks to convert major national enterprise brands (e.g., tier-one banks or major retail chains).
- Physical-to-Digital Conversion: Advise on experiential marketing tactics that seamlessly incentivize live, physical event crowds to download, subscribe, and transact within digital mobile applications.
- Brand Activation Strategy: Help guide the operational vision for scaling our flagship monthly pop-ups and large-scale annual festival properties into premium, nationally recognized cultural assets.
Core Qualifications:
- Experienced executive leadership background (CEO, VP, Legal Counsel, Managing Director, or tech founder or tech leader, or retired partners).
- Deep professional network with access to enterprise commercial channels, institutional networks, or major corporate retail brands.
- High passion for supporting independent businesses and creative marketplace acceleration.
