Collateral Partners is finance's integrated communications platform - we work with 400+ investment firms, asset managers, and advisory firms across the US on the moments that matter most: raising capital, executing transactions, and building investor confidence. We're more than tripling year over year, and we're adding a Vice President to help lead our Transaction Readiness, Research & Investor Relations practice - stepping in alongside our existing VP to raise the standard, deepen the bench, and add senior weight to our most consequential client work.

The Role

You'll partner with our existing VP and report directly to the Managing Director, serving as senior advisor to private equity sponsors, asset managers, real estate operators, and founder-led firms across their defining moments - capital raises, fund launches, M&A;, refinancings, and exits. This is a hands-on senior seat. You'll own the narrative and be in the deck, not just directing from above.

The first year is heavy on direct client counsel, materials oversight, and developing a growing team of Associates. What You'll Own

Transaction Readiness - lead the pitch decks, CIMs, IMs, teasers, and management presentations that move capital from interest to commitment.

You own the narrative architecture: thesis, proof points, market validation, and ask.

Research - direct white papers, investment thesis work, and competitive and market analysis that establish clients as authoritative voices in their categories.





Investor Relations - run the recurring cadence: LP letters, quarterly updates, annual reports, and investor-day materials, tailored to each client's fund structure and LP base.

Team Leadership - mentor and develop a growing Associate team, set the quality bar across every deliverable, and hire as the practice scales.

What We're Looking For 6+ years in investment banking, capital markets or transaction advisory, or in-house investor relations at a PE firm or asset manager.

A track record building the materials that move capital: pitch decks, CIMs, IMs, LP letters, fund presentations, and supporting research at a senior standard.

Experience advising senior principals directly, and leading and developing junior talent.

Finance fluency - you can read a deck, model, or memo and immediately see the narrative arc, the proof points, and the soft spots.

Exceptional written English. This role lives and dies on the quality of the writing: clean, structured, institutional. No fluff, no marketing voice.

Nice to have: sell-side or buy-side M&A;, PE fund formation and LP relations, published research or white papers, comfort validating financial models. CFA or a graduate degree in finance or business ideal.
