Role : VPM Business Systems Analyst

Location: Fully Remote

Duration: Long Term

? Key Responsibilities

- Client Engagement & Delivery Leadership
- Lead end client engagements from discovery through go-live, serving as the primary functional point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Requirements & Solution Design
- Drive functional discovery, requirements analysis, and solution design for VPM implementations; produce BRDs, FSDs, and configuration design documents.
- VPM Configuration
- Lead and perform complex VPM functional configuration covering valuation models, performance rules, static data, workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
- Data Mapping & Integrations
- Partner with Technical Consultants to ensure accurate data mapping, system integrations, and end-to-end solution integrity.
- Testing & Go-Live Support
- Provide functional leadership during SIT, UAT, and go-live phases including issue triage, resolution, production cutover, validation, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Pre-Sales & Practice Development
- Contribute to pre-sales activities including functional solutioning, effort estimation, and SoW inputs; surface product gaps and enhancement needs to Product and Practice leadership.
- Fund Operations Support
- Apply expertise in General Ledger, Trial Balance, Mutual Fund and Hedge Fund processing, and fund onboarding/conversions across client engagements.

Technical Skills

- Investment Accounting Platforms: VPM, Eagle STAR, or equivalent investment accounting platform — hands-on implementation experience required
- Configuration: VPM configuration — valuation models, performance rules, static data, workflows, dashboards, reporting
- Fund Operations: General Ledger, Trial Balance, Mutual Fund processing, Hedge Fund processing, Fund onboarding and conversions
- Documentation: BRD and FSD authoring, functional specifications, configuration design documents
- Data & Integrations: Data mapping, system integrations, end-to-end solution integrity validation
- Testing: SIT, UAT, go-live support, issue triage and resolution, production cutover and hypercare

Soft Skills

- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management
- Analytical problem-solving with ability to triage and resolve functional issues under delivery timelines
- Disciplined documentation habits — precise, audit-ready functional deliverables
- Cooperative cross-functional working style (functional + technical + product teams)

? Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 6–10 years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting platforms, or financial services functional consulting
- Demonstrated implementation experience with VPM, Eagle STAR, or a comparable investment accounting platform
- Pre-sales and effort estimation experience is a strong differentiator
