**Job Title: Receiver / Stockroom Person**
**Job Description**
This role is responsible for managing receiving operations, asset tracking, procurement support, and stockroom operations in the Test Engineering Assembly Lab.

The position is based in Ottawa and supports Test Engineering Operations and NPI activities.
**Responsibilities**
Manage stockroom operations, including receiving, put-away, inventory control, stock rotation, and cycle counts.

Maintain accurate inventory records and asset tracking.

Support equipment onboarding, repairs, calibration tracking, and certification updates.

Receive domestic and international shipments, including handling logistics documentation such as packing lists and B13 forms.

Prepare equipment and materials for test station builds based on schedules and BOMs.

Conduct physical inventories, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures, best practices, and work instructions.

Collaborate closely with logistics and engineering teams.
**Essential Skills**
Experience in stockroom, warehouse, or inventory management environments.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).

Experience maintaining accurate inventory records and handling shipments.

Customer-focused with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to lift and move materials up to 40 lbs. consistently (occasionally up to 75 lbs.).
**Assets**
Familiarity with asset tracking systems, procurement processes, and logistics operations.
6 months experience in inventory or warehouse management for electronics or telecom clients.
6 months experience using SAP or a similar tool for inventory tracking.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

The role involves working in the stockroom/receiving area and in the Recent Product Introduction lab.

It includes desk work for data entry in the final stage, but primarily involves moving and preparing items in the warehouse.

The employee will be on their feet for most of the 8-hour shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Ottawa, ON.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
