**Robotics Assembler**
Assemblers in this role will work on a variety of robotic platforms, with five different models currently in production.

Build complexity varies significantly, ranging from approximately 30 minutes for basic assemblies to as much as 40 hours for more complex systems.

Each assembler is assigned a dedicated workstation equipped with all necessary tools and a laptop that provides access to assembly schematics, drawings, and work instructions.

Upon receiving a build assignment from a supervisor, the assembler requests required materials through an internal inventory system.

Materials are delivered directly to the workstation, eliminating the need for assemblers to retrieve parts from the warehouse.

This is not a traditional production-line environment.

Assemblers are responsible for the complete assembly process, from the initial frame or "skeleton" through final completion, or they may work on multiple sub-assemblies in preparation for final integration.

Once a robot has been fully assembled, it is transferred to the Quality Assurance (QA) team for testing, and the assembler begins work on the next assigned build.

Successful candidates must be comfortable reading schematics and technical drawings, following standard operating procedures, and using a variety of hand and power tools to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies.

While assemblers work within a shared production area, each employee maintains their own individual workstation.
**Required Skills & Experience**
Minimum 6 months of assembly experience, preferably involving electronics, robotics, or electromechanical components
Minimum 6 months of mechanical assembly experience using hand and power tools such as drills, power screwdrivers, and wrenches
Minimum 6 months of experience soldering wires and cables in a production or new product introduction (NPI) setting
Experience with wiring, crimping, cable assembly, and harness assembly
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly drawings
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
Experience working in a quality-driven manufacturing environment
**Preferred Qualifications**
Robotics Technician graduates from Algonquin College are highly regarded.

Candidates from this program may be considered with strong academic references even without prior work experience.





Experience working in ISO 9001-certified or similarly regulated environments is considered an asset.

Candidates from industries with strict process adherence, such as defense, healthcare, food manufacturing, or other standardized production environments, typically transition well into the role.
