**What are your contributions to the team?**
**During your internship, you will contribute to:**
•
Help develop and validate various software tools developed with the Advanced Design department
•
Develop conceptual design tool
•
Participate in the Multidisciplinary Optimization tools development
•
Benchmark disciplinary environment with state-of-the-art research
•
Participate in feasibility and trade studies of new aircraft design software
**During your internship, you will learn:**
•
The importance of multidisciplinary design optimization tools in the design of new products
•




To use different programming languages and development environments
•
How to participate in the early phases of the development of new aircraft concepts
•
To work as a cohesive team with experts from different technical disciplines
**How to thrive in this role?**
**What we are looking for:**
•
You are currently enrolled in a university level aerospace engineering program or equivalent (e.g. mechanical engineering, computer engineering, computer sciences, etc.)
•
You have completed at least two years of the program
•
You show a keen interest in aerospace in general and aircraft design in particular
•
You show a keen interest for software development, with a good knowledge of the Python programming language.

Familiarity with dash is an asset;
•
You are familiar with other programming languages (C/C++, Matlab, Fortran)
•
You are motivated, curious and independent
•
You are familiar and comfortable with Microsoft Office

Duration: 8 months
