Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our Fountain Food and Beverages team at our Hamilton Distribution Center. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory handling, and shipping, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with food safety and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming products, ingredients, and packaging materials against shipping documents.
- Pick, stage, load, and unload customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
- Complete inventory counts and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, temperature, and inventory records.
- Rotate stock according to FIFO and FEFO principles.
- Store products at the required temperatures and in designated locations.
- Follow GMP and company food safety procedures.
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices, including the proper use of required PPE.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, cooler, staging, and loading-dock areas.
- Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, food safety concerns, hazards, and equipment defects immediately.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills

- Previous warehouse or distribution-centre experience is preferred.
- Food, beverage, dairy, refrigerated, or cold-storage experience is an asset.
- Forklift or walkie-rider pallet-jack certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain company certification.
- Able to accurately complete records and follow written procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive bending, reaching,



pushing, and pulling.
- Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated areas, typically between 0°C and 4°C.
- Available to work the assigned afternoon or night shift, including occasional weekends and overtime as required.
