Responsibilities:

Preparation of and updates to project deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID;) and pipe isometric drawings

General Arrangement drawings of piping layouts

Ability to independently layout piping and select mechanical equipment

Development of 3D piping models in an integrated CAD environment including pipe supports

Checking of all piping related deliverables





Reviewing and commenting on vendor packages as they relate to the piping discipline

Participating in multi-discipline design reviews and coordinating with those disciplines

Ability to lead and guide a small team of junior to intermediate piping designers
Education and Experience:

Must be a graduate from a 3-year Mechanical Engineering Technology Program at an accredited College

Minimum 5 years’ experience focused on piping design in an industrial setting

Experience with the Bentley suite of Open Plant tools is an asset
Competencies (knowledge, skill, attributes):

Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects

Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges

Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges

Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and an ability to understand innovation

Adapts and embraces change
Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000

In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements,



the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location.
