Who – The Company:
Our client is a large public-sector organization delivering essential programs and services across Alberta. Its Access to Information team processes information requests while protecting confidential and sensitive records.

What- The Role:
Business Unit: Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction.

Fully onsite in downtown Edmonton.

Position Summary
We are seeking two detail-oriented Records Management Clerks to support requests under Alberta's Access to Information legislation. Reporting to the ATI Coordinator, the successful candidates will review and organize records, identify information requiring redaction, prepare correspondence and maintain accurate request files.

Key Responsibilities

Review the scope of ATI requests and assess records for responsiveness.

Identify information that may require redaction.

Remove duplicates and organize records chronologically or as required.

Proofread and format Word documents and edit PDFs using Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Prepare applicant correspondence and initial recommendations for the ATI Coordinator.

Assemble release packages and maintain complete documentation in the ATI system.

Manage files through established ticket, queue or case-management processes.

Follow all access, privacy, security and information-management requirements.

Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.

Strong written communication and document-production skills.

Sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information.

Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Minimum Requirements:

Five or more years of experience working independently and within a team workplace.

Four or more years of experience proofreading and formatting Microsoft Word documents in a professional setting.

Two or more years of experience with information governance, records management or information management.

Four or more years of experience reviewing and analyzing document content.

Ability to work onsite five days per week and successfully complete a criminal record check.

Nice to Have Experience:

Four or more years of experience editing documents in Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Two or more years of experience with information-management concepts and privacy or security issues relating to FOIP, the ATI Act or comparable legislation.

Three or more years of experience interpreting and applying access to information or privacy legislation.

Four or more years of experience working in a ticketing, workflow, queue or case-management environment.

Two or more years of experience supporting information-management initiatives, systems or processes.
