Regional Recycling is a local family-run business that would love to have your family become a part of ours. We are a high-volume Recycling Facility carrying out a goal of Zero Waste and have 9 locations that span across the Lower Mainland, Sea to Sky and Vancouver Island.

We are a high-volume Recycling Facility carrying out a goal of Zero Waste and have 9 locations that span across the Lower Mainland, Sea to Sky and Vancouver Island. You will be working for a company whose priority is providing a safe environment and quality experience for customers and employees. The employment opportunity is for our Richmond/Vancouver location. The pickups are mostly in the Lower Mainland area. This will be 4 days a week position.

What Are We Looking For

minimum 1-year experience operating a 5-ton truck is essential (or a bus, dually, or an RV is helpful but not essential)

safe driving practices including a clean driving record, with proof of driving abstract (class 5 required)

a good sense and knowledge of the geography of the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas and timely route management

the ability to operate a power tailgate and pallet jack (forklift experience is an asset)





experience moving skids and various other types of loads.

the ability to personally lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.)

good English communication skills and quality customer service

experience with paperwork including logbooks, purchase order books, etc.

comfortable with Android smartphones

demonstrated initiative and the ability to take and follow directions.

ability to work independently and as part of a team.

flexibility with hours, and ablility to work overtime and weekends as required.

High commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.

What You Will Get To Do

provide quality pick-up service for our commercial and residential customers.

adhering to all Industry Standards around quality, environment, health and safety policies and regulations.

Responsible for maintaining a company truck, and ensuring its safe operation.

JOB TYPE

Full time

Compensation

$24 per hour

Benefits will kick in after passing 6-months of probation period (Full-time employees only)

Vacation pay

Overtime pay

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Experience

delivery driving: 1 year (required)

SCHEDULE

4 days/week x 10hrs/day shift

Shift time- start from 7:00 am (or early depending on the pickups)

Working days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Note: working days may vary depending on the business needs.

Work Location: In person
