Citi is looking for a skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in modern enterprise architecture and a growing interest in Artificial Intelligence.

This role will contribute to AI-enabled engineering initiatives in Citi Banking Technology, with a focus on the Deal Grading business line.

The successful candidate will have solid expertise in Java, Angular, microservices, and event-based architectures, combined with a willingness to leverage agentic AI tools to deliver intelligent, scalable solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**
Design, develop, andmaintainscalable, secure full-stack applications using Java, Angular, microservices, and event-based architectures, with a focus on Deal Grading workflows.

Contribute to the integration of AI capabilities into existing and new applications, supporting the deployment of agentic AI solutions for Deal Grading use cases.

Implement microservices and event-driven systems that are resilient, fault-tolerant, and performant.

Develop front-end user interfaces using Angular, ensuring an intuitive and responsive user experience.

Participate across the full software development lifecycle, includingrequirementsgathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and operational support.

Apply best practices in software engineering including code quality, testing, CI/CD, security, and documentation.

Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in full-stack development and AI, contributing ideas for innovative solutions.

Participate actively in code reviews and support junior developers, contributing to a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
**Experience**
5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development.

Experience designing and contributing to scalable, high-performance microservices.

Exposure to event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Solid experience with up-to-date front-end frameworks, specifically Angular.

Some exposure to AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, or other AI domains.

Awareness or early-stage experience with agentic AI tools and frameworks is desirable.

**Preferred Qualifications**
Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in

Investment Banking dealsmaking, or related workflows.

Familiarity with domain-driven design and clean architecture principles.

Exposure toobservability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Interest in or contributions to developer communities or open-source projects.
