Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer for a leading Vancouver-based retailer.

This role is a hands-on technical position focused on designing, operating, and evolving Git

Lab SaaS, Terraform Cloud, and CI/CD automation at enterprise scale.

You will collaborate with the Enterprise Platform Engineering team to deliver scalable, resilient Dev

Ops solutions, while driving the adoption of AI-assisted workflows across the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary owner and subject matter expert for Git

Lab SaaS, including platform governance, configuration, access management, group/project structure, and lifecycle management.
- Design, administer, and support Git

Lab Runners, CI/CD templates, shared components, and developer self-service capabilities.
- Experience implementing Git

Ops practices and integrating Git

Lab with Terraform Cloud, Kubernetes, and enterprise identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, SAML, SSO).
- Manage integrations between Git

Lab and enterprise tools including identity providers, security tooling, observability platforms, and Terraform Cloud.
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams to implement SSDLC standards, access controls, audit requirements, and platform guardrails.
- Drive adoption of Git

Lab best practices across development teams through enablement, documentation, and coaching.

Skills and Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Dev

Ops, or SRE roles
- Deep hands-on experience administering Git

Lab SaaS or Git

Lab Enterprise environments, including CI/CD, runners, governance, authentication, permissions, and platform integrations.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), AWS, Kubernetes, Git

Ops, and cloud-native platform engineering practices.
- Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted tools within engineering workflows
- Proven ability to own and operate production platforms end-to-end, including governance, access control, architecture, and scalability (beyond CI/CD pipeline management)
