**Job Title: General Production Worker**
**Job Description**
The General Production Worker assembles products and components according to work instructions, performs basic production and assembly tasks, and supports overall manufacturing operations.

This role uses hand and power tools to complete assembly work, inspects finished products to ensure quality standards are met, and prepares items for shipment.

The position also requires maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all company safety policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
Assemble products and components accurately by following detailed work instructions.

Perform basic production and assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly work.

Inspect finished products to verify they meet established quality standards.

Package and prepare products for shipment according to company guidelines.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area throughout the shift.

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines at all times.

Support general production activities and assist team members as needed to meet production goals.
**Essential Skills**
At least 6 months of experience as a general production worker or in a similar manufacturing role.

Proven experience working in manufacturing or assembly environments.

Comfortable and proficient using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.

Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic production documentation.

Experience working with blueprints or basic assembly diagrams.

Robust attention to detail to ensure product quality and accuracy.

Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working workplace.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work consistently to meet production targets.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing setting is an asset.

Comfortable switching to an afternoon shift when required.

Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and tasks.

Willingness to learn new processes, tools, and production methods.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a manufacturing and production environment where you perform hands-on assembly and general production work.

You regularly use hand tools and power tools and may work from blueprints or work instructions at a workstation or production line.

The work involves standing for extended periods, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and organized area in compliance with safety standards.

Shifts may include daytime hours with the possibility of switching to an afternoon shift depending on operational needs.

Appropriate work attire suitable for a production floor is required, with adherence to all safety and personal protective equipment guidelines.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mississauga, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Mississauga,ON.
