Takla Maintenance (TM Corp) is a family-owned business operating in Edmonton. TM Corp offers commercial-scale landscaping services such as site preparation, tree, shrub, and turf installation, plant care, and vegetation control.

We are looking for candidates with previous landscape maintenance experience. Water Truck Drivers will be required to operate a Water Truck within the city of Edmonton & surrounding area. This position is seasonal running from May through October. General hours of operation are Monday – Saturday from 7 AM – 7 PM. Compensation ranges from $18-$22 per hour, depending upon experience.

Must-haves:

· Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record (5-year driver abstract once hired)

· CSA approved steel-toed safety boots; safety glasses; hi-visibility safety vest & gloves

· Physically fit, reliable, valuable attention to detail & a positive attitude

· Willingness to work overtime when required (up to 12 hours shifts)

· 18 years of age & legally entitled to work in Canada

· Working cell phone with data

Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to:

· Drive & operate single axle water truck & pump

· Capable of navigating the city of Edmonton

· Watering of trees, shrubs, & turf with proper quantities & pressure

· Update maintenance logs for all tasks completed

· Daily safety documentation including vehicle & equipment inspections





· Driving in a safe & courteous manner

· Minor truck and pump service

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

· Air endorsement

· Previous experience on a water truck

· Seasonal landscape experience

· Experience reading and understanding neighbourhood plans & drawings

· First-aid certification

· Mechanically inclined
