Job Requirements

Early Childhood Education Diploma from a recognized Community College

Registration with Ontario’s College of Early Childhood Educators

Provide Records Of, And Updated As Required

- Current immunizations,
- Current First Aid and CPR-C,
- Current Explicit Vulnerable Sector Police Check,
- Current Food Handler Certification,
- Completion of the Child Care and Early Years Act Self-Test – Schedule 1 and

A minimum of 5 years experience in the child care sector The Quality and Licensing Specialist will adhere to all governing bodies, including the Ministry of Education, the Child Care and Early Years Act, and, the College of Early Childhood Educators Code of Ethics & Standards of Practice.

To provide a nurturing, safe, and educational environment for all children and their families at Way To Grow Daycare and Way To Learn Daycare.

To deliver a quality child care program and to ensure the management of our Program Statement and Policies and Procedures.





Roles and Responsibilities related to licensing and collaboratively working with each Child Care Supervisor, including, but not limited to;

- Providing continuous support to each Child Care Supervisor to successfully carryout the roles and responsibilities of their position
- Ensuring that each centre complies with all Ministry of Education requirements
- Ensuring that Way To Grow Daycare and Way To Learn Daycare is in compliance with our commitment to Niagara Region’s Quality Child Care
- Responsible to ensure that Way To Grow Daycare and Way To Learn Daycare is in compliance with the Ministry of Education’s Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years and On My Way, A Guide to support Middle Years Child Development
