Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components to produce high-quality structures and equipment. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and safely.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications and fabrication requirements.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding to join metal parts with precision and strength.
- Use plasma cutting tools, drill presses, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to shape and assemble components.
- Conduct rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy forklifts.
- Measure dimensions accurately using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices; apply basic math skills for precise fabrication.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with welding equipment, machinery,



and heavy materials; maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Skills

- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques with the ability to produce high-quality welds in various positions.
- Solid mechanical knowledge including the operation of metal working machines, forklifts, cranes, and other fabrication tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with rigging procedures for lifting heavy or complex assemblies safely.
- Familiarity with machining processes and the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, and schematics.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks.
