Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of schematics and be proficient in various welding techniques. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the process.

Duties

- Interpret and work from blueprints to fabricate components.
- Perform various welding processes including MIG welding.
- Utilize plasma cutting equipment to shape metal parts as required.
- Operate lifting equipment for moving heavy materials.
- Fabricate metal structures according to specifications, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Use power tools effectively for cutting, grinding, and finishing metal surfaces.
- Employ calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions of finished products.




- Apply basic math skills to calculate measurements and material requirements.

Experience

- Proven experience in welding and fitting roles.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Experience with plasma cutting, machining, and operating power tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
