Front Road Cellars is a small, family-owned winery in St. Williams in Norfolk County. We produce grape + fruit wines, along with hard ciders. We also grow blueberries and hand-craft various preserves. We are now accepting applications for team members to join our winery retail team. This is a part-time opportunity, for those who truly have a passion for hosting and hospitality.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual, who is outgoing, enjoys meeting current people, is an effective communicator, and can deliver excellent customer service in a retail setting.

- engage with guests, educating and effectively tell our story through tastings and retail sales
- responsible for the daily operations of the tasting room including maintaining wine & other merchandise levels, using a POS system for sales,



organization and general cleaning duties
- packing orders for shipping/pick up as required
- discerning the appropriateness of serving samples in regards to patron’s legal age and sobriety
- assisting with on and off-site special events

Qualifications
- exemplary customer service skills and overall welcoming demeanour
- some wine/cider knowledge is a plus
- basic technology skills
- must be able to lift 40 lb cases of wine, be on your feet for long periods of time and navigate stairs
- a self-starter work ethic and reliability are essential
- Smart Serve certified, or willingness to obtain
- ability to work some/most weekends (and occasionally holidays)

Pay: $17.60 per hour
