The Nursing Laboratory Instructor will guide nursing students in their Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Responsibilities include designing lab sessions, engaging in evidence-based practice, and evaluating student performance. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of nursing experience and advanced education, with solid communication skills to support diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and assist nursing students during lab sessions
• Design and prepare engaging laboratory exercises
• Evaluate student lab reports and performance
• Ensure the availability and management of lab supplies
• Facilitate student training on clinical practice applications
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of nursing experience in acute care and community
• Undergraduate degree in nursing with a master’s preferred
• Certificate of Registration from the College of Registered Nurses
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Teaching experience in a post-secondary setting is an asset
