What you’ll do
Manage a portfolio of carriers to arrange the transportation of all inbound, outbound, direct, or stock transfer orders
Ensure safe, efficient, legal, and economical operation of all transportation activities
Meet customer delivery requirements cost‑effectively
Collaborate with external stakeholders (vendors, carriers) to communicate requirements
Use and maintain SAP Transportation Management System (TMS) to optimize common carrier, dedicated fleet, and private fleet freight orders
Work with local plants on capacity planning and special requirements
Support EHS and Sales regarding compliance, health, safety and environmental affairs
Assist internal stakeholders on corrective actions related to missed deliveries, incidents, and capacity, determining root cause and establishing preventative actions
Reconcile freight expense variances
Perform other tasks as assigned
What we would like from you
University degree or college diploma with specialized training in a related field (e.g., transportation)
CIFFA and P.Log certifications are considered an asset
Minimum 1–3 years of transportation experience
Strong organizational, detail‑oriented, and time‑management skills
Strong problem‑solving skills with ability to prioritize and multitask
Team player who is customer‑oriented, self‑motivated, and can interface confidently with internal and external stakeholders
Robust computer skills using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Bilingual in French and English (proficiency in English required)
