JOB SUMMARY: We are currently accepting resumes for an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator for our Abbotsford, BC office. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. This role is a foundational part of the team, supporting our commitment to excellence, accountability, and delivering on our promise to customers across Western Canada.
Responsibilities: Answering phone calls and responding to emails regarding accounts payables from both internal and external sources.
Daily data entry of invoices ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors




Scanning and indexing of payables related paperwork
Preparing and processing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly transfers and payment via cheque or direct deposit runs
Processing employee expense reports
Processing petty cash for all the branches
Sending out remittances electronically and by regular mail
Posting online payments done by the Controller (back-up)
Reconciling vendor statements and proactively following up and responding to inquiries
Creating new vendors account in order to process payment
Managing payables workflow to ensure invoices are being approved in timely manner
Reviewing and completing reports as assigned
Contacting vendors without EFT information in order to request bank deposit information
Agent Report – Processing and payment
Handling various computer tasks/process related to daily operations
Other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications: Previous accounts payable and/or general accounting experience required ( 5+ years)
Ability, initiative and tenacity to resolve issues both collaboratively and independently
Well organized and detail orientated
Exceptional communication (verbal & written) & interpersonal skills
Computer literate – Excel, Word, Outlook
Able to work in a fast-paced setting
