As an Accountant, you'll report to the Finance Director while overseeing full-cycle accounting operations. Your primary responsibilities include maintaining the General Ledger, generating financial reports, and ensuring compliance with Canadian GAAP. Your expertise in QuickBooks and analytical mindset will be essential in achieving the school's financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions
• Generate accurate monthly financial statements
• Maintain integrity of the General Ledger and financial records




• Complete bank reconciliations and resolve variances
• Issue official Charitable Donation receipts

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Post-secondary education in accounting or related field
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of Canadian accounting principles
• Commitment to confidentiality and school’s mission
