**Job Summary**
The Associate forms a viable part of the Introba management team and is responsible for managing their respective Project Design Team.

They are fully responsible and accountable for their design team staff, regularly review staffing and distribute tasks effectively and consistently with staff skill sets.

By providing technical support and management resources essential to Introba, the Associate ensures that design decision-making and team management accountability take place.
**Responsibilities & Qualifications**
**Duties and Responsibilities** :
Provide the Management Team with staff performance criteria and information on all design staff
Meet regularly with all team members toidentifyissues and put action plans in place
Provide workload forecasting as new projects are secured and provide progress analysisregardingprospective unsecured projects (integrating efforts of the Marketing Team)
Update

Introbaaccounting system information for effective use by the Marketing Team




Recommend distribution of new work based on staff availability asestablishedby the team workload requirements
Represent

Introbaat meetings with project clients and other project stakeholders asrequired
Company representative at related association meetings, plus dealing with city, provincial and federal officials
Train staff in all phases of design process toinsurecontinuation of technical design operation when absent from the office or when staffison vacation
Utilize leadership skills and motivation techniques to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction
Effect and implement programs to improve the quality of our service,productsand systems to meet client's requirements and expectations and to minimize costs and maximize the company's competitive position
Instill the concept of quality being the responsibility of every design team member.

Promote quality issues with all members andin particular ensuresthat the quality control function is effectively performed
Utilized the quality assurance and control programs in the company
Assure adequate field review services are provided to ensure adherence of contract documents
Effect studies todeterminecause, effect and corrective actionsrequiredto remedy deviations impairing desired standards
**Skills and Qualifications** :
6+ years of specific HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design experience
5-10 years of experience in mechanical site inspections, field review reports, and attendance at site meetings.

Familiarity with the BC Building Code and BC Building By-law is essential




Minimum 5 years project management experience in consulting engineering
Superior interpersonal skills with clients and staff
Communication and Coaching skills
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Professional Engineer (CEng,PEngor equivalent), Applied Science Technologist (AScT) designation, or eligibility to apply
LEED Accreditation an asset
**Additional Information**
Introba is committed to pay equity.

As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $110,400- $138,000 annually for this position and local market.
