Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Omni Analytics team at a leading Vancouver-based retailer.

This team supports retail technology, commerce, payments, order fulfillment, and inventory intelligence initiatives, partnering with product owners to deliver reporting, analytics, and data-driven insights that improve business performance and drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:
• Support the Retail Omni Intelligence organization through rollout of a technology initiative through
reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and exploration and investigation of data.
• Organize, manipulate, and create SQL queries, Power BI data models and dashboards, and Excel
spreadsheets.
• Identify and define requirements for key performance indicators and compliance metrics.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate complex processes into clear, measurable business
metrics.
• Design clear and concise dashboards to convey a compelling narrative through data, easily
understandable by product owners and cross-functional partners.
• Provide insights to uncover and identify areas of opportunity, and audit/evaluate initiatives post
implementation.

Skills and Requirements
• 1+ years of experience in data analysis, BI, or a related field
• Proficient in data transformation, modeling, reporting, and visualization design.
• Capable in SQL, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills, able to storytell complex data into clear, concise insights for business
partners and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, able to take ownership of analytics for a subject or program and manage stakeholder
expectations and priorities. - Familiarity with RFID technology and retail inventory operations is a plus.
