Job Title : Class 5 Driver

Location: St John's, NL

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday. 8am-5pm

Rate of Pay: $19.00/hr

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Class 5 Driver to join our team. As a Class 5 Driver, you will play a crucial role in our transportation operations, responsible for the safe and timely delivery of freight to our clients. Your primary duties will include operating commercial vehicles with air brakes, adhering to transportation regulations, and ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods.

Responsibilities:

- Operate commercial vehicles with a Class 5 license
- Deliver freight to customers within designated service areas
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and comply with all transportation regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and roadworthiness of the equipment
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed

Qualifications:

- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating commercial vehicles
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive, professional demeanor
